Central England Academy Trust is commencing a consultation with all of our stakeholders on the proposal for Michael Drayton Junior School to join our Trust from September 2025. The consultation will run for 4 weeks from Friday 14th March until 3pm on Friday 11th April.

Higham Lane Sixth Form is delighted to announce its latest 2024 set of A-level results. Our students achieved an excellent 28% of grades at A*-A, 59% of grades at A*-B and 82% at A* to C. We achieved a highly credible B- as the average grade per entry.

Children in Need 2025 On Friday 14th November, we are holding a non-uniform day for Children in Need! We apologise for any previous confusion on how to make the donation of £1. Donations can be made via this link only, not available through ParentPay itself: https://tinyurl.com/4jv4drx3 We kindly remind students and parents/carers about expectations for students' outfits on non-uniform day. These should be smart, casual dress, which is suitable for the school environment. no cropped or low cut tops -no midriff flesh or underwear should be visible. no tops with a netted/crocheted finish or which have any areas that can be seen through. no inappropriately ripped jeans; no short skirts or lycra shorts. Shoes should be flat and supportive (no heels or crocs). The school's hairstyle, jewellery, make-up and false nails rules also still apply. The school reserves the right to send any student home who is inappropriately dressed so they can change into suitable clothing. Any student not wishing to wear non-uniform, can wear either their school PE Kit or full school uniform. Students who have PE on this day need to bring in their school PE kit to get changed into.
