CURRENT VACANCY Permanent Assistant Subject Leader of Maths (with responsibility for KS5) www.highamlaneschool.co.uk/jobvacancies
We take personal development and extra-curricular activities very seriously at HLS! There is a vast array of activities to choose from, so your child can develop new skills. We have created a brand new Extra-Curricular Activities booklet that you can view on our website under the 'Teaching & Learning' tab. Parents and Carers - please discuss these opportunities with your child and encourage them to get involved! Numerous studies have shown that students who get involved in extra-curricular activities enjoy school more, feel they belong and get better outcomes. Please ask your child which clubs they attend and if the answer is none or not very many, then please encourage your child to attend more!
We are excited to announce an upcoming school raffle to raise funds for further improvement to the school playground, to continue to develop a more engaging and enjoyable break and lunchtime experience for all students. To make this fundraiser a success, we are seeking donations for raffle prizes. We kindly ask for your support in reaching out to your employers or if you own a local business to seek raffle prize donations. Prizes could include gift cards, merchandise, services, or experiencesanything that adds excitement to our raffle and encourages ticket sales. Please send your contribution to school with your child or drop it off at the school reception. If you or your employer are interested in donating a prize but would like further information please contact school by emailing contactus@highamlaneschool.co.uk for the attention of Mrs Davis. Every contribution, big or small, will help us move closer to creating a playground that our children will love and benefit from for years to come. Thank you for your support.
