The proposers for the application (Higham Lane School Academy Trust) to open Higham Lane North Academy Free School are concurrently forming a Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) in which the new school will sit alongside the Outstanding Higham Lane School. 

The core proposer group includes governors and senior leaders from Higham Lane School and Higham Lane School will act as partner school to Higham Lane North Academy Free School.   

Higham Lane North Academy Free School will have a Local Advisory Board (LAB) from its opening, which will be officially constituted as a committee of the Board of Trustees, by which it will be held accountable. We will recruit school governors, based on their skills, from the local and business community.

Trustees and school governors will meet regularly with the Headteacher and school staff in order to provide both challenge and support for the school.
