Higham Lane School is a high-performing 11-18 Comprehensive Academy and Aspiring Teaching School with approximately 1400 students on roll, based on an attractive site in the north east of Nuneaton, on the Warwickshire-Leicestershire border. The School was judged as outstanding by Ofsted in May 2019 for overall effectiveness; leadership and management; quality of teaching, learning and assessment; personal development, behaviour and welfare and outcomes for pupils.

Higham Lane School is an Aspiring Teaching School with significant experience of supporting schools locally. It has a strong reputation for high quality training as evident in its work with the Higham Lane Partnership with several other local secondary and primary schools to provide high-quality training, development and support to new and experienced school staff, focusing on Initial Teacher Training, continuing professional development, leadership development and school-to-school support. It has also worked closely with the outstanding Polesworth School, a Teaching School, in delivering effective training.
