Higham Lane School

A Warm Welcome Awaits At Open Day And Evening!

Prospective students, parents and carers are once again being offered the ideal opportunity to witness the first class education and teaching facilities on offer at Higham Lane School.

This year's Open Day & Evening takes place on Wednesday, October 2nd, when guided tours will allow visitors to see lessons in progress during the morning. There's no need to book, just arrive at Reception (via the Shanklin Drive entrance) at 9.15am prompt.

However, it is in the evening when the School really comes to life (6pm-8.30pm), a variety of interactive classroom activities, experiments and displays showcasing the wide breadth of curriculum and extra opportunities offered by Higham Lane.

Outlining his vision for the School's future, Headteacher Phil Kelly is making a brief speech in Coombe Hall at 6.15pm, and again at 7.15pm, while the Head Boy and Head Girl are conducting a special address on their views of the School.

Teachers and support staff will also be on-hand to answer questions on a particular subject or prospective students' requirements.

As always, student volunteers will be in attendance to accompany parents/carers and their children around the school site, enabling you to see first-hand that learning is so much fun at Higham Lane. Ample car parking space is available on-site, please do not park in the surrounding streets.

If you currently have a child in Year 5 or Year 6, please come along and see what Higham Lane School has to offer. We very much look forward to meeting you all!
